Also, the hardness of calcium should be checked in order to make sure that the correct levels are maintained. The value of calcium hardness should be kept between 200 and 235 ppm. If the levels of calcium hardness are very high, there is the risk of scaling. Addition of soft water into the swimming pool can control the level of calcium hardness. A scale inhibitor can also be used as an alternative to adding soft water.
