Try Chicken Seasoning Rub On Grilled Meatless Entrees

A restaurant style meal is possible. Even after a long day or when it seems like natural energy is at a zero. There are many shortcuts a person can take to make meals that sizzle and full of flavor. Meal preparation products, like chicken seasoning rub, are great for those who put in long hours but want a home cooked meal in little time.

Cooking chicken or turkey parts at home is quicker than a lot of people think but healthier than the rotisserie entrees found at the supermarket. What many shoppers may not realize is that the majority of these are unsold items that have been injected with a salt solution. While the hot deli may work miracles by making these meat products taste extra good, the sodium content can be rather dangerous for regular meals.

Although these meatless products are great for cooking on a stovetop or baking, cooking over an open fire requires a different approach. The fire should be low to avoid dry edges and a high heat oil may be needed for a little lubrication. Also, the person doing the cooking should keep an eye out so that the food does not scorch since there is little animal fat to prevent sticking.

Even better, the many varieties also have lower levels of sodium than some liquid marinades or similar products. At one time, a person had to create their own rub from scratch to get all of the flavors with little salt content. Now, there are many reputable brands that believe in good quality food instead of cheap fillers like salt and white sugar.

Rubs can also be used in plant ground meat. Ideal flavors may include teriyaki, cajun, or hickory smoke for that backyard grill taste. For small burger patties, just add a sprinkle on each side. Larger burgers or for those who want flavor throughout can mix the rub in with the meatless ground until there is even coverage.

There are many flavor varieties for chicken, pork, and beef.that are ideal for the grill, stovetop, or oven. Some people like the hickory smoke or mesquite flavors when they want the outdoor taste from indoors. Others may like to try those inspired by international cuisine like Carribean jerk. Sriracha, or sweet Hawaiian style.

Though who may have some culinary challenges may have a learning curve ahead of them but good taste is not impossible. Some people do better by cooking strips of chicken, which take a lot less time and can be made on the stovetop. Normally, a pack of boneless chicken breasts costs less than buying fried strips at a casual dining restaurant since there is enough for two or three meals.

Quality seasonings can make a big difference for those who dread cooking at home. Even those who enjoy being in the kitchen do not care much for measuring seasonings and other ingredients. Rubs are also a nice way to experiment with new flavors that are influenced by different parts of Asia, the Carribean, or countries that use a lot of spice in their cuisine.
